Position Summary:

Working at our Toronto Head Office, you will be responsible for contacting prospective senior HR and other professionals responsible for employee benefits, compensation and total rewards. You will introduce them to and sell our innovative technology based solution. You should be comfortable leveraging your existing network of industry contacts and cold calling other prospective organizations to build and manage a sales funnel, leading to exceptional results. 

  

Skills / Responsibilities

The following skills, experience and qualifications are required: 

  • 3-5 years previous applicable sales experience
  • Experience selling software based solutions an asset
  • Experience selling to senior HR leaders, financial decision makers and “C-Suite” leaders an asset
  • Entrepreneurial and creative, able to “think on your feet” reacting to client needs and apply keen business acumen
  • Highly organized & self-motivated
  • University or College degree an asset
  • Ability to build and manage a sales funnel and effectively forecast results
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM an asset
  • Customer focused
  • Proficiency in French an asset but not required

Working from our Toronto based head office, you will be responsible for contacting senior marketing professionals at national retailers to introduce them to our innovative products and services and sell them advertising packages to reach our exclusive audience of +1M Canadian households. You will be responsible for managing the sales cycle from initial contact to close. You should be a self-starter who is comfortable reaching out to existing contacts and cold calling new contacts to secure meetings, product demos and sales.

  

Skills / Responsibilities

The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:

  • 3 – 5 years outside sales experience meeting with national retailers and marketing professionals
  • Experience in media sales (traditional & digital) preferred but not necessary
  • University or College Degree an asset
  • History of a successful sales record and the ability to forecast business based on a disciplined approach to sales
  • Pipeline development and management
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Experience working with Salesforce or a similar CRM an asset Customer focused
  • Strategic thinker - can think out-of-the-box with a strong business acumen
  • Highly organized

  • Skilled and comfortable conducting telephone sales – minimum 20-40 contacts per day

  • Flexibility to travel across Canada (all travel expenses covered)
  • Leadership qualities
  • Skilled and comfortable conducting telephone sales – minimum 20 to 80 contacts per day dependent on day
  • Skilled and comfortable conducting face to face meetings and cold calls – minimum 10 to 40 contacts per day dependent on day
  • University or College Degree an asset

  • Up to 2 years customer success &/or retention experience with a proven record of success
